Storm and Solace

  • McKinney Chapel, First Unitarian Congregational Society 121 Pierrepont Street Brooklyn, NY, 11201 United States (map)

The Repast core ensemble presents music from the late Baroque, a transitional period to the Classical Era that included experimentation with musical portrayals of emotional upheaval. From the idea of Empfindsamkeit, or heightened sensitivity, to the sudden mood swings of passionate youth, this program features daring and intimate works by Schaffrath, Platti, Benda, and C.P.E. Bach.

Please note: All audience members must wear a face mask and show proof of vaccination to attend this concert. Please be prepared to show your Excelsior Pass or vaccination card upon entry. All musicians have been fully vaccinated.
